Weekend Update
- I love General Conference weekend. It is just great in every way.
- It's official: fall is in the air. Most the leaves are still green here, but the highs are in the 60s and the lows are in the 50s.
- I am loving New York. I can't think of any place I'd rather be right now.
- Persie broke the vase containing the sand and seashells from our honeymoon. I was taking a nap when it happened, and Johnny cleaned it all up. When I found out, I could not even look at her. But life goes on...
- Johnny's mom and grandpa are coming to visit this week and I am SO excited! I was looking through our New York guidebook for ideas of what to do while they are here, and I realized there is so much Johnny and I still need to see and do. I can't wait for their arrival!
- I'm not even going to talk about the BYU football game on Friday... I don't want to say I've given up all hope, but I've given up all hope.
- Finally, three cheers for fall food! This weekend I had pumpkin bread, butternut squash soup, caramel apple crepe, apple cider, and caramel apple cinnamon rolls. The last two were thanks to Angie Harding. Mmmm. . . . These next three months are the best food months of the year. I love it!

Oooh, those are some yummy fall foods. When you look at them all next to each other, YUM! You had a good fall food weekend. I have an urge to make Apple spice cake or gingerbread cake.... we just need to find a reason or an occasion to make it. Any ideas...? I welcome any reason to eat dessert. :)
