A Little Update

Well, we are settled into our new apartment. It is so great to have a home again! Johnny got a job a couple weeks ago, and I just found out today that I got a job I interviewed for a few weeks ago. It's nice to have a normal life again (for a little while at least). School starts on Monday, and I am super excited for my last semester at BYU. Johnny is taking two Independent Study classes to finish up his degree as well. That's about it for us...I will post pictures of our new place soon!

Graduation

Farewell

In the coming years, and maybe even months, I know Johnny and I are going to look back on this summer with a feeling of nostalgia. We have had such a great time, and I am going to miss the carefree attitude we have been able to have these last few months. Tomorrow morning we will head back to Utah and back to real life in a sense. While I am super excited for our graduation next Friday and for our final semester at BYU (and our final football season!), I am also kind of sad to say goodbye to our summer adventures. These pictures were taken on one of our trips to the beach, and someday we'll look at them and wish we could go back to those carefree days. Goodbye LA!

Just another day in paradise...

Johnny and I are headed back to Utah on Thursday. We wanted to spend our last weekend doing something fun, but being the poor college students that we are, we didn't want to spend too much money. Enter Priceline Ne-go-ti-a-tor! Johnny put down $60 for a resort in Palm Springs and we got it! Oh boy, was it worth it!

It was super hot out in Palm Springs...when this picture was taken, it was probably about 95 degrees outside. The high during the day was 113!


We spent almost all of our time by the pools. When the heat got too much to stand, we would just hop in the water!

Haha...K, Johnny's face has that blank, expectant look because I kept forgetting to tell him when I was going to take the picture...woops!


We took a walk to check out the grounds of the resort, which were beautiful.




Me standing at the front of our hotel...I wish it hadn't been at night because there was this beautiful fountain and amazing landscaping...but you get the gist. It was honestly one of the best, most relaxing and fun weekends we have had in a long time.
