I spent the weekend at my sister Sarah's house, and Johnny spent the weekend in DC. We were only apart for two days, but when I got to the airport to drop him off, wa la!, the tears started flowing! I am happy to have him back safely. Here are some pics from his trip.

BYU vs Wakeforest

The outcome of the Wakeforest game was super depressing, but we had lots of fun nonetheless! We waited outside for about two hours so that we got really good seats, and then we saved some seats for Rick, Will, and Trevor. The energy that night was crazy. It was the best game ever...until the end of course. Anyway, it was one of my favorite memories over Christmas break. The game was on the Saturday right before school started back.

Christmas

I know it's already halfway through January, but better late than never, right? We spent Christmas with Johnny's family. It was so nice to relax! We got snowed in, and Johnny and I built a snowman on Christmas Eve morning. More posts are soon to follow...enjoy!

Back to the books...

I just used white-out in my planner. Being more anal wasn't really one of my new year's resolutions, but oh well. It helps to calm my rising stress levels. Johnny is as bad as I am with his methodical color-coding in his planner. I wonder how our kids will turn out! I was trying to think of a better word than anal, so I asked my sister Sarah and she said "meticulous." Meticulous sounds like such a positive characteristic! So if anyone asks, Johnny and I are both meticulous!
By the way, this post was just to let you all know that I will be updating our blog this weekend...It's been a long time, but I was lazy over Christmas break, and now I am swamped with school and work stuff!
