It is FREEZING here. The low tonight is 1. 1! As I walked to class this morning, it was 3. Sooo coold. In other news, today is my second to last day of class. EVER. Then finals, and then DONE. Wooo! I am very excited for Christmas! I have already finished all of my Christmas shopping, so let the holidays begin!

Weekend with Eva

Our niece Eva came to visit this weekend. She spent Saturday night and Sunday with us, and it was quite the adventure! She was very excited to come to our place, but I could tell she was also a bit apprehensive about being away from her mom, dad, and sister. She was scared to sleep on the floor, so she ended up sleeping between Johnny and me in our bed! My sister warned me that Eva wakes up at 7:00 every morning, and sure enough, 7:00 rolled around and she sat up in bed and said, "I'm awake! Wake up!" Johnny and I were both super tired from staying up late and then being hit in the face all night by Eva's tiny arms (she must have very vivid dreams!). I woke up with Eva and watched Dora the Explorer for hours/got her dressed for church/let her color/and tried to feed her breakfast but all she would eat was candy and gum (sorry Sarah). Finally, I got her to lay down for a nap (with me...I was exhausted!!) before church started, while Johnny went to a meeting for our church calling. Eva went to church with us and was a perfect little angel, sitting still all through sacrament. She even went to nursery! Johnny and I were both exhausted, and I was ready to give her back to her real parents by the afternoon. We loved having that little girl with us, but I don't know if I can ever be a parent! When we gave Eva back to her parents, Johnny and I both looked at each other and started laughing at how relieved we felt at not having a little child to look after anymore! Maybe some day I'll be able to handle a little one of my own, but for now, nieces and nephews are quite enough for me!

A Long, Long Time Ago

This video has never been posted on our blog...It's from a looong time ago...the summer when we got married. It's Johnny's application video to the Advertising Program at BYU. The requirements were to make a 60 second video about yourself. This thing makes me laugh every time I watch it...ENJOY!

Scrabble

Lately Johnny and I have been playing Scrabble a lot. It gets very competitive. So far the score is tied, so we'll have to see who wins our next game!

Basketball is Back!!!

The basketball season has officially begun. I LOVE watching basketball. It is much more easy to stay interested in, I think anyway. These were taken at the first basketball game of the season. So far we haven't missed even one home game. And the 'stache Johnny is sportin in these pictures? Yeah, that thing has since been shaved right off, THANK GOODNESS. Rick and Will are not only our football buddies, but they are also our basketball buddies.

These two little boys were right in front of us during the game. Aren't they cute? The one on the left would mimic everything Johnny did. When Johnny would "boo," he would look back and then start "booing" as well. It was really funny!
