Hannah Visits!

My sister Hannah took a last-minute trip to come and see us last week! She hadn't met Sally yet, so it was great for Sal to meet another family member.

It rained pretty much the whole week she was in town, but one day we went to Duke Gardens during my lunch break.

The gardens were gorgeous of course, but we could only take pictures with our phones because it was misting the whole time. And we kept Sally draped in a blanket to keep her dry, and she loved every second of it.

We sent the above picture to my mom since she loves Sally and irises. We were loving Sal's blanketed appearance, and I was referring to her as a woman of the cloth.

Afterward, we toured Johnny's work/work campus. Hannah's considering majoring in Advertising, so she got to see her first agency.
It was awesome having Hannah in town! I can't wait until Jill gets home from her mission next month and I can see her (!!!!!!!!!!) and Hannah and the rest of my Alabama family again!!

Hannah and I headed to Harvard.

Harvard is just a few stops away from where we live, so Hannah and I hopped on the subway and went to check it out.

It's an old, beautiful campus, of course. There weren't really people touring around, so Hannah and I had a great time just pretending we were one of the many students walking around campus. Someone even asked us for directions!

I wasn't in picture-taking mode at all because I was just enjoying being a student so much. So my pictures don't adequately document the campus at all---I guess you'll just have to come see it yourself!

Hannah Comes to Boston

Last week my wonderful sister Hannah came to visit. She just finished up her freshman year at BYU, and she decided she wanted to come get to know Boston a little better.

We had such a great time while she was here! And Hannah got to experience a lot of firsts: first taxi ride, first subway ride, first time in the Northeast, and so on. Johnny and I loved having Hannah stay with us!

The first day Hannah was here, I took some pictures of her at a park near our house. As Johnny sarcastically put it, "Lucky Hannah!" Hahha, but she was very obliging, and she's beautiful, so I enjoyed taking some pictures of her.

Hopefully I'll get around to documenting the rest of my adventures with Hannah soon!
