Subway Ride & Harvard

I couldn't wait for my sister Lia to experience the subway! It's one of those things you see in movies a lot, but I think it's kind of weird once you realize people actually travel that way! Going to visit Harvard was a perfect excuse to give it a try.

My family can be kind of (read: really) strange sometimes, and I love it. My Dad is just a big kid at heart, and the following picture makes me laugh every time I see it.

I think it was about this point that someone said, "Your children will be really well documented." And I don't think it was meant as a compliment....but they put up with me because they love me!!

We ended the day with Pinkberry. Hannah held my cone while I documented the event. The original flavor in a cone was sooo good. Mmmmmmmm. I want one right now.

My family left that evening. The three days they were here flew by! We loved having them come stay and miss them already!

Hannah and I headed to Harvard.

Harvard is just a few stops away from where we live, so Hannah and I hopped on the subway and went to check it out.

It's an old, beautiful campus, of course. There weren't really people touring around, so Hannah and I had a great time just pretending we were one of the many students walking around campus. Someone even asked us for directions!

I wasn't in picture-taking mode at all because I was just enjoying being a student so much. So my pictures don't adequately document the campus at all---I guess you'll just have to come see it yourself!
