PA Part Three: Chocolate

On our final day together, Johnny, Uncle Pat, and I went to Hershey, PA, together. I loved their lamp posts!

Welcome to Chocolate World. I kept thinking how much my mom would have been in heaven here....She's the biggest chocolate lover I know.

After the chcolate tour...Mmm.

Yep, I'm on a cocoa plantation.

PA Part Two: Motorcycle Ride

Uncle Pat took me on a motorcycle ride around his neighborhood. He lives in a really wooded area, and it's so green and pretty this time of year. It was such a nice contrast to NYC.

This is Uncle Pat's house.

This is us about to go for a ride!

PA Part One: Canoeing

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Pennsylvania with my Uncle Pat. It was such a relaxing and fun visit. Shown above are pictures from canoeing at a lake near Uncle Pat's house.

Picnic in Bryant Park

Bryant Park is located right by Johnny and Pat's work, so Lindsay and I recently met them for a picnic during their lunch break.

NYC Library and Central Park

Last week on one of my many excursions, I went to the NYC library with my fellow wives. It was so neat on the inside. It made me think of Hogwarts. I tried to get pictures of the inside, but none of them turned out because I could not use a flash.

We went and read in Central Park. It was a beautiful day!

Yankee Game

Johnny and I went to a Yankees game with the other BYU interns. The new Yankee stadium is really pretty. It was the perfect night for a baseball game. The high that day was 84 and it was all sunshine. The game itself was kind of boring, but we had fun.

Connecticut

A little over a week ago, we spent a couple days in Connecticut. Johnny served part of his mission in Stamford, so I got to meet some of the families he taught while he was a missionary.

Connecticut was beautiful. This is the view from the house we stayed in.

The Wife of an Intern

While Johnny and Pat are at work, Lindsay and I work very hard at being good, supportive wives.

And when Johnny and Pat get home, we make every effort to keep them happy. It's a hard life, but a good life.

Clips of our trip so far

Our first few days in New York we did not have our camera charger, and our camera battery was dead. Therefore, we documented all of our first few days with our Flip camera. The videos below show some of the fun things we have done and seen this past week.
