On a warmish (yeah, right) day in February, Angie, Sally, and I trekked to Central Park for some picture taking. I think it was in the high 30s, which sadly was one of our warmest days this past winter. I was so excited when we got to the park because the lighting was perfect for pictures! Angie was pregnant with twins, and she ended up giving birth just four weeks after this shoot! It was all very casual and kind of impromptu, with us trying out different locations and poses as we pleased. But I loved some of the shots we got. Sally was a trooper, and we lasted until she and the sun told us we needed to head home. Anyway, here were some of my favorites of Angie!

Freeman Family Pictures
Our nieces are just so cute, and I felt to lucky to get to take their photos! Sarah, Josh, and the girls are the most beautiful, perfect little family, and it was a fun afternoon spent with them!

Sally & Me
When my friend Angie was in town visiting, she took some beautiful pictures of Sally and me that I'll treasure forever. She's such a great photographer, and I'm so happy that she was willing to take some pictures. I initially wanted help taking pictures of Sally, and then Angie suggested that she take some of Sally and me together, and I am so glad she did! Here's a major picture overload of all my favorites.

Hannah Comes to Boston
Last week my wonderful sister Hannah came to visit. She just finished up her freshman year at BYU, and she decided she wanted to come get to know Boston a little better.
We had such a great time while she was here! And Hannah got to experience a lot of firsts: first taxi ride, first subway ride, first time in the Northeast, and so on. Johnny and I loved having Hannah stay with us!
The first day Hannah was here, I took some pictures of her at a park near our house. As Johnny sarcastically put it, "Lucky Hannah!" Hahha, but she was very obliging, and she's beautiful, so I enjoyed taking some pictures of her.
Hopefully I'll get around to documenting the rest of my adventures with Hannah soon!

Practicing
Summer weekends are great.
Johnny got off early on Friday, and we finally went and saw Harry Potter. I thought it was perfect. I enjoyed every second of it.
Saturday Johnny and I ran errands around the city and relaxed that night. Lately, we've been obsessed with this show called Dual Survival. We love it.
While Johnny was playing basketball on Saturday morning, I went up to Central Park to practice taking pictures with our camera. I am trying to learn to shoot on manual, and it is hard and frustrating! Over and over, I have to look at these kinds of charts to wrap my mind around the logistics:

Hopefully, I can look back in a year and see that I've gotten better at using our camera!
