So it goes...

today's confessions:
  • I've been reading The Book Thief for months now, and despite raving reviews, I have had a hard time getting into it....just a little over halfway done.
  • I listened to Where are You Now? by Mary Higgins Clark in its entirety this week. Hello again to my favorite eighth grade author!
  • I miss late night Wendy's runs in Utah with Johnny.
  • I talk to Persie out loud throughout the day.
  • My lunch for the past week (or two or three) has been Doritos and Pepsi. My parents might disown me if they knew. {If you don't know my parents, suffice it to say that they are very healthy people.}
  • I am super excited for these upcoming months!!!! Too excited, perhaps. I called my mom last night just to talk about Christmas, and I researched cute decorations for a few hours last night on my laptop. I was chatting on Gmail with my friend Lindsay at the time, and I couldn't quit typing how excited I am for the holidays. {Sorry, Linds.}
  • I still haven't done last week's laundry. Monday night date with Johnny, perhaps?
  • I promised my sister Jill I wouldn't tell something and then I blabbed it to my mom. Jill forgave me. {I talk to her everyday. She's my best friend.}
  • I love New York right now and I am afraid to leave on a trip because I think when I come back, I will hate it. {I hate the cliche love/hate relationship all people living out here claim to have with this city, but I think it might be very, very true.}

That is all. Let me leave you with a little video of Persie being a dog.

I read The Book Thief and really loved it, but I've talked to a lot of people who felt mixed on it. I think maybe I just really loved Hans Hubermann. Oh, and all of the passages about how wonderful reading and books are. But it was a long read and tended to drag in a few places.

I wish I could remember The Book Thief more. I remember reading it and liking it, but that's all.

Love the video of Persie. And I think I would talk to her all day too, that is totally normal!

Even though I only met you once when you were cuddling on the couch with Johnny I feel like we are friends, because i'm doing the exact same thing with the book thief, I like to make videos too, and my cat does the exact same thing, but with what I call the "bally ball".
