BYU vs SDSU and Scrabble

So this weekend was great.

I wish it weren't over. On Saturday Johnny woke up bright and early in anticipation of the BYU vs SDSU game. He said he felt as excited as Christmas morning. Oh boy. We watched the game with our friends the Hardings and the Laidlaws, and Angie fixed us delicious barbecue sandwiches and mac and cheese for lunch. We were so nervous/excited about the game. And then we won!!! All of us were very happy people (especially the husbands).

I forgot to take a picture of the Laidlaws.

Johnny and I wore the shirts he made!!

Sunday was another fun, relaxing day. On Sunday night Johnny and I decided to play a friendly game of Scrabble, and Persie insisted on being a part of the fun.

Hahaha. I really don't think she knows she's a cat.

I love how Persie is playing Scrabble with you. So cute! I bet she was a big helper, knocking the pieces across the table and/or sitting on the game. My cat (that I had growing up) used to think of that as her specialty.

Your husband's shirts are SO KEWL! I love it! Tony never watches close games, so he was super happy with this one. And, by default, I'm happy when Tony's happy. And when BYU wins, too. So it's like a win-win, only better, like a win-win-win. That doesn't really make sense, but I don't feel like deleting it and coming up with a better comment. P.S. Your cat is cute.

That's awesome. I wish my cat played scrabble. All Apollo does is repeatedly pounce on the game board and chew on the pieces when we attempt to play SceneIt.

Hahaha! Those pics of Persie playing scrabble are hilarious! And that game was awesome! I'm glad you thought to take pictures... I thought about it but was too embarrassed? Weird. Hope it's ok if I borrow yours. :) Go cougars!

Jared and I also played Scrabble on Sunday and he kicked my butt. If we had a cat, he or she would have probably kicked my butt, too. Scrabble tourney next time we see you guys?
