One day after work last week, Sally and I headed up to Thanksgiving Point for a play date (aka, an excuse to get out of the house). When we moved, we lucked out because our neighbors' daughter is just two months older than Sally! As you can see, they're at the age where they're aware of each other, but more interested in the corn shucks and dried pieces of corn on the ground.
While we were there, Sally put some corn shuck in her mouth and began choking on it, and then proceeded to swallow it as I frantically tried to fish it out, so that was fun.
The weather was perfect, and we had a great time. It's probably one of our last afternoons in the 60s for a while, so I'm glad we took advantage of it.Also, I just have to vent about my hair for a second here. I'm turning into Little House on the Prairie, people! For three months my hair was falling out until even my thick-haired self was starting to worry about going bald. And THEN it stopped falling out and started to grow back in. And now I have all these short hairs that make for a constant "glow" of frizziness around my hairline. I'm in desperate need of a change, or I might as well start wearing long dresses and bonnets. I'm thinking I will do a shoulder-length bob with some side-swept bangs to hide my new hairs growing in. I'm not sure on the color yet, though. Maybe caramel-ish? I don't know. Anyway, that's that.

A bob with swoop bangs is perfect. And caramel will be good for winter.
