I loved showing my family around Boston. It's a very walkable city, and everything worth seeing is within two miles of our apartment. I really can't get over how beautiful Boston is, and I was happy to see that my family thought so, too!
My family loved Boston Common, especially the above performer. There were performers like this in Central Park as well, and I always loved seeing them. They stay completely still until someone drops money in their box.
I can never pass up Nuts 4 Nuts.
And we couldn't resist getting some treats at Georgetown Cupcakes and Mike's Pastry while they were here. I think both places won my sisters over!
I always insist that visitors get the lobster tail at Mike's :)

Seriously? This is how you treat people who come visit you? I need to hop on a plane right now so you can take me to famous landmarks and buy me ice cream and nuts and pastries. Boston looks delicious . . . I mean . . . fun.

can you believe i have never been to boston?! i would love to get up there this summer. it feels like something that just needs to happen.
