Calm Before the Storm
In less than three weeks, Johnny will be on his way to NYC in the hopes of finding us an apartment within a three-day span. In four and a half weeks, we will be on our way to our new home. I feel like this is kind of the calm before the storm. We have done about all we can do at this point. We've sold most the furniture we need to, and it is looking like we might have our car sold before the end of the week. Now we just wait. We know that a huge change is coming, but in the meantime, our lives continue as usual. Last night Johnny and I went for a walk around our neighborhood. The air was slightly sweet, and the temperature was perfect. The mountains are so green right now, and our surroundings were both rural and serene. I tried to imagine New York, and what it will feel like taking an evening walk there, but I just couldn't. The atmosphere there is so much different than Pleasant Grove, Utah's that my mind could not even conjure up what it would be like. Very soon, though, we will be in our new environment, and I am both excited and curious to see and experience it.

You guys will have so much fun. Let us know for Saturday. :)
No doubt! I've learned to treasure the last moments of each chapter of my life- so treasure these! You may never live in a mountainous region again.
How exciting! Yes, things will be extremely different in NYC. I try to spend as much time in the park as possible. I need nature! :) And when you're deep in the middle of it, you can't even hear the cars. :)
