My First Post

This weekend seemed more like an entire week. Friday night we attended Johnny’s mission reunion which started at 7 and which we managed to leave from at 11. While Johnny acknowledged that talking had made his jaw tired, I was mostly feeling it in my legs from all the standing. We ran to the car in the cold rain, our shoes and jeans getting soaked in the already puddly sidewalks. Saturday morning we woke up when Johnny’s alarm sounded 5 minutes before the start of general conference. General conference was enjoyed along with some toaster strudels. I wish I could say I ate more than that on Saturday, or Sunday for that matter: I got a stomach virus. Johnny took good care of me.…He cleaned, finished the much hated thank you notes, and bought all kinds of remedies for my illness. I lay around quite dazed but also entertained…Johnny cleaned off the counters with the “green spray” I told him to use, not realizing we have 2 green sprays, one called spray-n-wash. Ha-ha.

Sunday we went to Johnny’s parents and enjoyed our time there as always.…We got to take home some delicious soup and bread bowls which we will be having for dinner tonight! Yay!
