Sal in our hotel bed --- right at home
One of our weeks on vacation in Utah was spent in work meetings --- my work meetings. Johnny, Sally, and I stayed in a hotel in downtown Salt Lake, and each day Johnny tended Sally while I pretended to be an adult. I must say, I really enjoyed getting dressed up each day, but the meetings were exhausting and stressful at times. Plus, I was getting hardly any sleep because Sally was waking up every single hour during the night in the hotel. We ended up letting her sleep in our bed some, which I'm sure was her plan all along.
After one day of meetings, I was feeling particularly stressed. My sister invited us to go rock climbing with her and her family, and it was the perfect escape. There's nothing like the adrenaline rush of climbing up a cliff to relieve some stress. We had a great time, and Johnny and I are excited to hopefully climb many more times while we live near the mountains!
Sally was going through a particularly drooly stage --- can you tell? :)

she has the sweetest blue eyes!
Seriously, your take the most beautiful pictures. I keep thinking I want your camera so I can take similar ones, but I have a feeling it's more than just the camera. ;)
Also, I have never been "real" rock climbing, and I really want to go! I think it's awesome your sister and her family do that together! Lucky you to get to come along.
Sally's little face sticking out of that backpack is the cutest thing I've seen all day. She is ADORABLE. Love her blue eyes and her chub and her facial expressions. You've made a gorgeous child, my friend.
Utah is beautiful and I miss it. Amen.
