Cory Matthews

Well, I am currently out of any and all under clothing. We had dinner at our own apartment this Sunday, and seeing how we normally do our laundry at Johnny's parents' house on Sundays, I am now desperate to do laundry. Maybe this is too much information. Either way, all I know is that I have a bag of laundry sitting next to me, a mound of quarters piled next to the keyboard, and a Cambridge Court laundry room that is very locked right now. Oh the joy.

On to bigger and better things: I got a job! I will be working as a secretary every day. I officially start work on Thursday. So until Thursday, I have an unseemly amount of time on my hands. In all actuality, I am quite capable of keeping busy; I just have to be a bit more inventive today and tomorrow because I am car-less(without car). On Saturday night, Johnny and I went to return a movie to Blockbuster and to get some dinner, and our car had a heart attack in the Blockbuster parking lot; we spent about twenty-five minutes trying to get the key to turn. Johnny's sister picked us up from a nearby KFC (a bucket of chicken in our arms) and drove us home. Johnny's grandfather is taking care of getting the car fixed, which is really great.

In the meantime, we are walking, longboarding (Johnny), and running (me) to our different destinations. Just last night we walked to a local burger joint for dinner: the weather was perfect, the walk was care-free, and the conversation was relaxing. I really can't complain (even if I am out of underpants).
