Our Lives Summarized

January has almost come and gone. I can't believe how fast time is flying. Johnny has been super busy with work, and I think it will only get busier from here on out. The poor boy has barely had a chance to play his new PS3. I have been extremely busy with work lately as well. Both of us are working nonstop it seems.

Lately Johnny has been making me laugh a lot with some of the things he says. For instance:

"Jo, you cleaned the fridge! It's so clean!" "No, Johnny, we just don't have any food right now."

He's also come to me with his musings on girls and their obsession with lotion and makeup. He has strong opinions on both apparently. I really enjoy living with a boy. We are so different, which means constant entertainment.

We've had one day of snow up here in Boston, but for the most part it's been very mild. Johnny gave me the idea earlier this week to go running along the water. All I wore were capris and a short sleeve shirt---in January. It was so great.

Both of us have been sick for the past week or so. Johnny got sick first and then gave it to me. It's just the inevitable winter cold that seems to come once a year. We recently got asked to serve in nursery at our church. I felt bad for laughing when they asked us, but it's kind of a joke now how long Johnny and I have been nursery workers. What can I say? I guess we need plenty of practice for parenthood.

Well, I hope to better document our lives in February. But so far 2012 has been good to us. Despite the loads of work hanging over us, we're very happy. It makes each moment we spend together all the better.

Its good to hear an update from you! And also good to know we aren't the only ones who didn't do much in January. It's just been an uneventful month.

We are thinking of running the Boston's Run to Remember half marathon over memorial day weekend again! Today was Klane's first day in his new barefoot shoes so he's feeling a little sore and not sure he'll be running 13 miles in them come summer... But I think I can convince him. Maybe we will come visit you!

I've been wondering how you've been! Even though I don't comment much, I love reading your blog.

Do you think Heavenly Father has a sense of humor sometimes? I have three callings related to children right now (nursery, too!), and I think He's chuckling so hard about that joke right now.

Also, I laughed a lot at your husband's comment on the fridge. Hilarious!

I love that you laughed. I had the same response when they called me to be a chorister.

I hope you'll update more--I love reading your blog. It's funny because I feel like the less I have going on in my life, the more I blog. This makes for some dull blog posts. It really should be the other way around :)

I laughed out loud seeing Johnny's head right in between the Romneys' heads. Perfect!
Running along the water sounds so good. Especially in capris! We haven't had much snow, but it has been cold enough for me in SL. Ready for Spring!
Love you!

ditto to all the comments about johnny's fridge comment. That should be in a sitcom.
