So... We went to see Elton John and Billy Joel in concert last weekend, and these were our seats! Through Johnny's work he has gotten to know a woman named Virginia who lives in Atlanta, and she happens to be best buds with one of Elton John's managers. Anyway, long story short, we had the opportunity so we took it. Our seats were amazing...usually they would have been over $1000 apiece, so we really got hooked up.
It was at the Energy Solutions arena in SLC, and it was packed!
We were backstage before the show, and we got to meet some of Elton's crew, including his guitarist Davey Johnstone. He was my favorite--he was really nice and down-to-earth. It wasn't until after we met him that we found out he is one of the most famous guitarists.

After about halfway through the show, we got out of our seats and watched the show from the side stage area! It was a very cool view.
Neither of us are big Elton John or Billy Joel fans, so that's why it was so random. They were great performers... We both thought Elton John was a better performer. We had a great time, and it was so nice/cool of Virginia to hook us up!Update: Here's a pic of us with Virginia!
