NYC vs LA

Well, we are here in Los Angeles. Los Angeles and New York City are about as opposite as they come.

A few things I won't miss about NYC...

• Having to pay cash for almost everything
• Walking everywhere
• Taking the subway
• Hearing bums ask for money everyday on the subway
• Paying twice as much for everything
• Feeling dirty all the time
• Not having a real grocery store nearby
  

Things I will miss...

• Not paying for gas
• Knowing how to get just about anywhere with the subway
• Never running out of fun things to do

Los Angeles also has a list of pros and cons, and they are just the opposite of New York's. For instance, after arriving in LA, I was SO OVERJOYED to go to a Target. AND, we didn't have to carry our groceries home! Also, Johnny and I went to a little Mexican place and only payed $7.00 for a meal! Last night, we wanted to watch the sunset, so we drove ten minutes to the beautiful coastline and watched it! I know these may not sound like a big deal to many of you, but after living in NYC, trust me, they are! Let me tell ya, life is good. I know I didn't list any cons to living in LA, but that's just because I'm enjoying the pros so much right now. New York is great, but right now I am thoroughly satisfied with the beauty I am surrounded by out here in California.
