The above pictures look so serene, and that is precisely what this post is not about. Although, I posted them because my favorite part about spring is seeing the color green again. Everything is brown and dead looking, and then the color green slowly starts showing up outside, and everything feels alive once more. Just a few weeks ago, I walked past this vine, and it was completely brown and leafless---and now look at it.
But moving on... this week has been so stressful for some reason. I started off the week completely stressed out of my mind. I could not calm down for anything. And for Johnny, each day has gotten gradually more stressful. My stress is derived from something over which I have no control, so it's quite silly to be stressed out, but I just can't help it. Johnny's stress is mostly caused from an increasingly unmanageable workload. And then add a couple unrelated stressful events this week, and we were both on edge.
It seems like everything must be shown in info-graphic form these days, so here's a basic sketch up:
To ease my stress, I've been doing the following:
- eating candy
- doing yoga
- cleaning
- reading lighthearted novels
- venting to a few unfortunate souls
Thankfully, it's Friday, and although I know Johnny will have to work through the weekend, at least we'll be together. That, above all, seems to be the best stress reliever.

love it! I hope I was one of the people you could vent to. Everyone needs people for that. :) I'm sure I'll be venting some of my stresses to you by the beginning of next week.
i hope everything starts to calm down soon!! know that you are missed in new york :)
At least the stress of having to look at Johnny's slicked back hair is gone! I hope next week is much better!

Your pictures are beautiful and very serene-looking. :) Sorry life has been so hectic! I really, really want to chat soon. Maybe on Saturday or Sunday - unless your sis is going to be there...? Anyway, we will chat soon.
I definitely feel ya on the stress thing. It's so much harder when BOTH of you are stressed at the same time. Hopefully things have gotten more relaxed since this post. The pics you recently posted sure seemed relaxing :).
